We relocated our headquarters from the Midwest to St. Tammany Parish in 1993. Those employees who relocated quickly understood and appreciated the great quality of life here, and what that means to their families. Excellent schools, low crime, a diverse economic base, and boundless recreational & cultural opportunities all contribute to our complete satisfaction in the decision to call St. Tammany Parish home.

Here in St. Tammany, we appreciate our natural surroundings which give us the opportunity to utilize the outdoors to the fullest. We offer the same amenities — theater, the arts, shopping and night life — as many metropolitan areas, within the warmth of our close-knit community. We are proud of our diverse economy, our varied recreational choices and our appreciation of the arts and our cultural heritage. Our school system consistently ranks among the highest in the state and four Universities are less than one hour’s drive from anywhere in our Parish.

St. Tammany is well-known for our thriving active lifestyle. The 28-mile Tammany Trace, and parallel equestrian trail, is one of many outdoor recreational amenities visitors and locals enjoy by the thousands annually. It is also a wildlife conservation area and provides a natural outdoor learning center. It winds through five historic communities, Covington, Abita Springs, Mandeville, Lacombe, and Slidell, linking various parks and providing beautiful vistas of rivers, bayous and streams from atop 31 railroad bridges. Many people choose the Trace as their means of commuting from community to community.

Lake Pontchartrain skirts our shores and beckons seafarers, swimmers and sunbathers. Winding rivers offer paddlers serene navigable blueways.  The St. Tammany Fishing Pier offers anglers prime fishing above a man-made reef in the heart of the lake.

Every community within our Parish has its own distinctive identity, from the resort-like atmosphere of Mandeville, to the metro-rural Camellia City of Slidell, to the historic richness of Covington, the welcoming waterfront town of Madisonville, and the rural, agricultural and equestrian communities like Bush and Folsom. We appreciate the vibrancy we have cultivated through a thriving economy, our traditions, our lifestyle and the arts. We invite you to appreciate it with us.
